Our technicians are certified to service Volvo Penta, Mercruiser, Yamaha, and Evinrude. In our shop, every boat gets an on the water, real world test.

Our Foundation
Our foundation was laid by my father Larry Tague. Starting as a mechanic here at Tate Marine back in 1970 he worked his way throuhg the dealership as was able to become owner in 1988. I was lucky enough to grow up watching him work magic on anything that was broke. He understood that customer service was the key to our business, the way he took care of the customers was amazing. I knew at an early age what I wanted to do when I grew up. I was lucky enough to get my chance in 1996  I starting out as a mechanic and service manager. I learned fast that it was a lot easier watching him take care of customers than it was to actually do it your self. Luckily I was able to lean on him alot and really learn what it took to truely take care of our customers. Anyone can sell you a boat, we understand that and know that being taken care of after the sale is just as important as it is to make sure you find the perfect boat for your family. If we are fortunate enough to earn your business you will never stop being important to us! We want to sell boats to your grandchildren and know that if we dont take care of you, there is no chance this is going to happen.
